Environmental Impact Assessment

Environmental impact assessment requires working with multiple objectives in a structured manner, using a wide variety of tools and technologies for data collection and analysis. Our staff has ample experience conducting environmental impact assessments related to natural (e.g., hurricanes and droughts) and anthropogenic disturbances (e.g., the introduction of invasive species, as well as the impact of wind turbines to bats and birds).

WILDCONSCIENCE is a partner of the PPRABC (Bat Conservation Program for the Islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao) and RELCOM (The Latin American and Caribbean Network for Bat Conservation). Therefore, regarding the production of eolic energy, we adhere to the official statement of this network:

"Acknowledging that all technological development has an impact on the environment, we support energy technology that reduces atmospheric contamination. However, all technology should be in balance with the conservation of biodiversity and a healthy environment". Read more about RELCOM and eolic energy
